As a central London, Balham Nursery, we ensure every day is different and tailored towards the children's individual needs, utilising outdoor space and the world around us as much as possible. Below is an example of a loose timetable of our daily routine:

 

8:00 - 9:00 - Breakfast and Free play

 

9:00- 9:15 - Welcome Circle Time

 

9:15 - 9:50 - Free Play and Garden time

 

9:50 - 10:10 - Group time, focused story and themes covered

 

10:10 - 10:30 - Snack time

 

10:30- 11:00 - Garden and Free play

 

11:00- 11:50 - Focused activity

 

11:50 - 12:00 - Story/ Ready for Lunch

 

12:00- 12:30 - Lunch

 

12:30 - 14:30 - Nap time (or quiet activities set up for children who don’t nap)

 

14:30 - 14:45 - Wake up and Free Play

 

14:45 - 15:30 - Garden time

 

15:30 - 16:00 - Focused activity

 

16:00 - 16:30 - Tea

 

16:30 - 17:15 - Free play

 

17:30 - 17:45 - Tidy up time and story time

 

18:00 - Nursery is closed
